OMO was a soap powder once upon a time.
A story exists about OMO being used by certain Army wives to indicate they were up for a shag when their spouse was on duty. A box of said detergent was placed in the window much the same as a certain profession was reputed to use a red light.
This alleged practice led to OMO becoming known to mean ''OLD Man's Out'' which eventually resulted in the NAAFI withdrawing it from sale.
Whether any of the above is actually true I don't know, but I did ask a NAAFI manager once who reckoned it was. This was supposed to be around the 60's/70's era.
awe poor old stretchie is loosing his marbles. don't worry though it will be a while before you start smelling of wee.
