The boss indoors passed her bike test last week and she has bought herself an 09 plate Gladius.
Just wondering does anyone know how similar the Gladius to the pointy is.

Totally different bike. better engine though, they make more torque and power top end especially when you put an end can or full system on them. The one we raced in minitwins this season struggled constantly to make the BHP limit whereas and was only running an end can and SV650 will only just meet it with a full system.
Darn it I won't be telling her that little bit about the power :D. Handling wise then what would you advise on changing?

The fork springs are .79 stock so a bit firmer than the SV ones. IMHO they handle quite sweet on the road for general use. Id let her ride it and see how she feels on it. Depends on her weight and riding confidence.
That can only be an improvement :D.
