I was invited to the premiere of Status Quo's 'Hello Quo' documentary tonight.

I got to walk down the red carpet with the band, go to the free bar, have a good chin wag with the band and other associated people which was very interesting and managed to network with some very experienced and interesting people.

All I can say is wow.

Plus, the film was actually pretty good and is released Monday if anybody is into Quo and fancies a watch!

How did you wangle that?

My neighbour has been to see them in concert at least thirty times (he claims). I still have the In the Army Now tour programme from when I saw them at the NEC back in the mists of time.

Is this film heading for TV or staying at the cinema for a bit?

Is he Les Battersby in disguise?

I've done some work for them (purely because my dad has worked for them for a very long time).

The Film is not staying in the cinema unfortunately, they couldn't get anyone to take it, apparently because of the cinema timetable but hey. The DVD has the 2 hour 20 minute film and apparently 3 hours of extra content...who knows what's on that.

If you have liked the band for a while then it's quite a good film and I'd be surprised if any fan doesn't like it.

SirTrev...I've seen them over 50 times now and I can honestly say, they just get better.

Is he Les Battersby in disguise?

Yes  I have seen photographic evidence of him recruiting his mates to join in.

The fans are all Les clones. Having been to a Quo gig, thoroughly enjoyed I add, seeing a frewe hundred Les Battersbys pogoing is funny....no need to jump yourself, the floor does it for you!

Done a few gigs with Status Quo. At first I was giving it...'Quo eh?' but as soon as they started I was suprised at how entertaining they are.

Does your Dad tour with them Dave?

If so I might have met him.

No he doesn't tour with them. He has many moons ago, but he's involved with Barclay James Harvest ft Les Holroyd now so tours with them rather than quo. Quo do a very good live set (as you'd expect after 100 years)

I shall only be at the o2 this year as I am now a skint student so unfortunately no trips to Birmingham or Scotland to see them :(

My mate went to the premier and got to interview them.

Lost count how many times I've seen them. I refused to see them following the ****e they started churning out around the 'in the army now' era.

Returned to the fold to see them on the Heavy Traffic tour and was pleased to see a returned to a more heavier set.
