Hi guys.

BuyaPowa are selling Gerbing Heated gloves here (http://www.buyapowa.com/ref/pzKVeG)

Use the link to buy them and if I win the free pair for recommending most people, I'll split the difference with those that got me there.

Ian.

I have a pair of Gerbings heated gloves ( not the XR12), they are brilliant. So sorry cannot help you but hope others do and they get warm, comfortable, dry hands. Good Luck.

Wish i had the funds, be nice to keep toasty. Although tbh if i spent £100 on gloves atm i think my mrs would cut off my hands and render them useless

End result, you won't have cold hands... not attached to you anyway ;)

Ian, I'm already past the purchase stage but stopped at the referral bit. I really hope you're Ian Stenning as I've just put you down as referring me :-)

i'd love to cos i think this sort of thing i think may be the answer to me having some non-freezing hands when riding in the winter, but with not being allowed to ride at all this winter and spring i can't really justify it atm. :( and i really do like the price of these too!

Outraged that Stenno posted about this offer after me (ancillaries section) but has managed to shoot to the top of the leaderboard. Ah well, thems are the breaks!

Worse still, if I'd realised he was on the list when I ordered I could have given him a referral to up his chances! (I updated my posting last night to say to give referrals to Stenno as I am clearly out of the running:(). Hope you manage to stay in pole position!

Out of interest chaps, what size did you go for (and what do you usually wear) and have you tried Gerbings gloves on for size before?

I went for a medium as that is what their size chart says for my hand measurement but my current gloves (Spada Enforcers are a large and fit nicely and when I've tried things like Alpinestars on I'd probably be an XL) so I am slightly nervous that a medium will be too small but I didn't want huge baggy gloves either. Given the postage costs I don't really want to have to be sending stuff back...

well... you went on the sizing they gave so you'll probably be fine, BUT a little tip (that i've picked as a result of selling ski wear), when you're buying winter gloves, you're always better off buying some that are a LITTLE on the big side than the small side. reason being that, gloves that are too small will restrict blood flow to your fingers and therefore make them colder sooner.

I went for medium as the size chart said that was the right one for me. I've got Hein Gericke racing extreme in small but small for them is apparently 22cm (which would be the large Gerbing) so who knows!

The lady I spoke to at Buyapowa was very helpful and said they can sort out an exchange if the size ends up being wrong.

that's good of them, as for your hein gericke one's, being a different size, that's perfectly normal. different brands come up different sizes, one reason i don't particularly like buying clothing (especially shoes) off the internet, unless i've tried them already.

Dunno how many referrals I had (sorry for posting after you fella, didn't see it despite searching) but I lost out to some other guy. I wonder if he bought up the remainder himself, keep an eye on eBay!

I bought medium based on the measurement and later tried them on in GetGeared (the supplier I believe based on where my back protector came from). Medium was a snug fit so should be ok. You need good firm fitting for heated gear anyway.

Gutted to lose out on the free pair!

I feel your pain amigo and wondered the same about the final bidder.
Buy second one, nominate self to ensure winning. Get one free and one to sell on. You were had mate! Although at least you didn't lose out on level scores - that'd be like losing on goal difference!

Still, we ended up with a decent price. And just as the temperature outside is plummeting.:)

its a good money making thing as long as you dont use the same IP to self refer yourself
5 sets for £495 - £99 for the free ones. so £396 for 5 pairs isnt bad, just under £80 each.

I also went for medium. when will the do the jacket :D

Received mine today from Gerbing/Wild&Wicked albeit addressed to the wrong person and also not the size either of us wanted.

Cheeky buggers wanted me to post them back at my expense but they're now picking them up monday.

I'm not shocked at all, this attitude is all too prevalent.
