I've seen him live twice. And he's a f****ng witch! But his tv stuff relies too heavily on insanely suggestible individuals that in all fairness, you and I could persuade to believe they are a fish!
That said apocalypse is a cheerful take on the 28 days later meets armeggedon genre we are all so fond of. I imagine it's been stupidly h+s planned as the guy could take a nearby lump of concrete or rebar to the skulls of any of those 'infected' and I wonder if it would be his fault...

They have carefully vetted the subject so they are not type to get a chain saw and a 12gauge

Surely that's the FUN part of a zombie apocalypse?!
Boomstick!

I'm fascinated by his programmes, I've done a little background reading based on DBs reading list suggestions. I'm part way through one called Paranormality, its basically an exploration of the science and psychology around why people feel scared, how various tricks such as 'mediums' and 'palm reading' etc work.

DB is through his own admission just highly skilled in reading body language, influencing how a person makes a decision and predicting how a person will react to a situation.

He has to choose a particular type of person for these programmes, but its impressive nevertheless.

Haha i was half hoping he'd pick up an iron bar or something. Seen db the once and it was well worth a night out.

To be continued.... <--- grr

It's mad that programme - I can't believe it.

I really like Derren Brown, and I'm really enjoying the programme, but I can't believe they've been allowed to do it - did anyone see that poor bloke's face when he woke up and was watching the telly??

I don't think they are actors, Derren Brown is open about the fact that what he does is not magic. He even goes someway to explain how his tricks work, but often leaves some of it unexplained for obvious mystique.

I used to be sceptical about whether his stuff was real or not or if his stuff was trick filming etc, its not until you see him live that you suddenly realise how good he is... He is amazing!

I am always looking to get tickets again!
