Anybody knows how these organisations operate and what is like to work for them?

I understand they are "not-for-profit" and not a public service operation like councils. But as organisations are they bound by certain rules regarding their employees? So payrise is that a given at least as the RPI index increases?

If anyone has some info I would appreciate it

Surely payrise in line with inflation is something to be written in a contract and is never a given unless stated?

No idea mate, maybe you are right unless they are bound to offer that as part of their agreements with unions or follwowing the public sector setup?

Used to work for one up here as part of the IT Squad, not sure whether I'd be abe to help much but fire away if you think I can?

In the civil service there was increases. These were stopped in my old place unless you were earning less than £22k or something like that. You used to go up spots on a scale. However, this is all changed and I believe has changed across the majority of the civil service.
