So the dates are sorted I will be out of the Army by 28/2/2013. But I may be out sooner as I rang one of my old bosses and was offered my old job back subject to Interview, which I can't see being a problem.
This does however mean, that with regret:( I will be moving back to Norfolk:(
Which means my capacity for GM rideouts will be reduced but not all together gone!
Still up for any GM adventures, and subject to available floorspace with the GMers the odd weekend rideout is not out of the question.

Ah that's good job prospect wise. It simply means that the GM parliament is expanding further afield ;) What date can you potentially leave the army earlier?

Cheers Ad, your sofa bed will be getting used as soon as the weather cheers up!
What date can you potentially leave the army earlier?
Tomorrow potentially but more likely a couple of weeks if I get the job, if I don't it'll be longer.
damn that's quick! you got to get a place sorted up there before hand?

The folks have a big house with enough room for temporary measures. And we've got an interview with South Norfolk Housing Authority 13th Nov' apparently being ex forces we have priority for housing.
nice, it would be good to get your own place before Xmas is here!
Got a whole room you can have if you come down here

I suppose there is a bright side. Me and Ad are significantly more likely to make it to retirement now.
Welllll no. Ad now has a Thunderace all to himself. And hes already a bit rapid as it is. Adam may rise to this challenge or he may not. If he does he'll be the one mark warns everyone about prior to the big multi forum rideouts...

Keating's beginning to struggle a bit more chasing me on it.
Still like the trumpet though.
90miles? Barely an hours journey!

90 miles? Are you sure? I'm closer to dear old Norfolk than you and I'm 120 miles from your old stomping ground.

Be glad to see the back of you; you grumpy opinionated bully!
Consider applying for minister for hills and see if you can sort them flat-lands out!

Cheers Trev, it is a relief, no more people checking I can dress myself every morning and no more having to put up with getting messed about just because the Sgt Mjr has got sand in his fanny!
Seriously though it is a weight off my mind, would have been a disaster to get out of the Army and still have no job.
Cant believe im saying it, but i might actually miss you and your mocking, hand slapping and fatherineverhad persona :(

The question is, will you ever make it, and how many ROCA will you lose for being late?! :D
Thunderace
23-11-12, 05:17 PM
Well that is why I asked about floor space for me to kip, so I can come down the night before, the new job is 4 on 4 off so once a month I'll have a long weekend to use for biking, and every other month I'll have two 3 day weekends!
The last couple of ROCA's have not been totalled so assuming it has gone by the wayside?
