Well hello everyone.

It's been a while since I really said hello and longer since I posted much worthwhile!

Since I have been bikeless after writing The Yellow Peril off last March, I've not been visiting you lovely .orgers much- mainly as I've had little to say bike wise.

Also, I've kind of put bikes to the back of my mind for a while. Crashing did knock the old confidence just a tad (!).

However, I took my Bro's bike around the block on Sunday (completely illegally! :p) while we were getting it running again (he's not had the cash to keep it on the road- needs a few things doing, plus mot and tax).

I'm rather happy to say that it felt like i'd not been off a bike in the last 18 months! Asides from a little extra caution and wobble slowing for a junction, no signs of the fear or any crash anxiety at all.

Got off it grinning from ear to ear and felt so much better for it.

I doubt I'll have a bike for a bit- my cash is mainly going into music gear right now and a car hopefully to allow me to get gigging again, but my biking days are far from over. I did see a yellow curvy at a dealer near my folks In Dorset recently that brought a fond smile to my face, though. :)

Lovely!

Lol. There is that.

I love the sound of a V-Twin in the morning!

I have to say- i'd be loath to get a bike with a different engine on it when I eventually do get another.

Especially after trying to get the plugs out of my Bro's CBR400 last weekend. Bloody in-line 4s and plug sockets right under the (tiny) frame! Needless to say, much swearing did ensue.. Tis a joy to ride though and very confidence inspiring! I'm considering getting insured on it so's I can keep some experience on the go..

They had a nice blue SV650 outside Tippets for a few days this week although I didn't spot it yesterday. Failing that just take a fireblade for a test ride :)

Lol. Too many cylinders. I do have an SV1000 in my head for a return to bikes..
