Hi ladies and gents,
I am leaving the world of the sv650. I have a good reason though. my loverly beautiful girlfriend has surprised me by giving me the best gift i have ever been given in the shape of a Honda 900rr Fireblade. was so happy until i saw the change in insurance costs from 14 quid to 80 a month. but you only live once.
right i know i havnt added pics yet but thats because i havnt had a chance to take them but i thought as i have internet access i will do the long bit of writing the description.
this bike was left to stand for 2 years by the previous owner and body wise was tatty and dull. so i have spent alot of money this year on this bike.
Modifications:
-Full professional respray in gloss black of all plastics.
-New fuel tank resprayed in black (was blue) as the original one had the dreaded drain pipe rot. ( didnt realise till after i had it sprayed:(),
-Dark tint double bubble screen.
-Fender Extender
-Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines front brakes only
-Gold HH brake pads.
-Adjustable Titanium half brake and clutch levers.
-Renthal grips
-Carbon fibre yoke cover
-Cartridge emulators and 15w fork oil in the front suspension.
-Mini Indicators
-Kawasaki zx6r ninja Shock Upgrade.
-25mm jack up bars
-Red pvc undertray
-Smaller gel battery from 636 daytona (new)
-Art stainless steel oval exhaust can, not marked.....
-Red decals
Parts replaced in the last 6 months
-Head bearings and Races (KOYO)
-Front wheel bearings (KOYO)
-Regulator (New)
-Front calipers (refurbed)
-Carbs (refurbed)
-Water Pump (refurbed)
oil, oil filter, spark plugs, air fliter, coolant all changed within the last 1500 miles.
front brake fluid changed.
alot of bolts and screws all genuine suzuki.
obviously this bike now looks nice and tidy, has a few small marks but nothing to shout about. the only one is a when the brake fluid was changed the mechanic didnt clean the pot properly and it leaked and burnt a 1 inch mark in the top of the right side panel.
i will stick up some pics tomorrow afternoon. open to sensible offers.
