Hi all,
I've loved having my SV but I've decided that rather than try and get mine tracked-up I'd like to get myself one already to go for next year so selling up to put the money towards one.
I got her about 5 months ago with around 35k on the clocks, I've added about 60 since! Shame on me, I know it was summer but I'm a busy boy with family and work etc!! :-({|=
The engine is still strong with no nasty noises. The previous owner assured me that he serviced it every 2.5K miles with new oil, filters and plugs. The battery was replaced early this year and at the same time some Oxford heated grips were fitted although these aren't connected at the moment. There are a few receipts for work done.
Has MOT till June 2013.
The rear tyre is almost new. It has a road legal Delkevic exhaust with a removable baffle which sounds very nice.
V5 is present and in my name.
That's the good points, now a couple of bad points;
Firstly, the small section on the front of the nose cone is a slightly different shade of blue. Its not a big issue, but worth mentioning. Secondly when the bike was 4 yrs old, it was subject to a Category D insurance claim (Repair costs do not exceed pre-accident value), I was told it was just fairing damage.
The bike is available to view in Leighton Buzzard (near Milton Keynes). The bike's just been declared 'SORN'.
