Is using flash or windolene (or equivalent) a bad idea to clean your visor? or is it going to eat the plastic?
Sorry if I missed an earlier thread on this, but couldn't find one.

asda and other stores sell a blac'n'blue window sponge for cars but works bloooody brilliant for visors. wet visor with solution of choice, wipe bugs off with black side then dry with blue side.

I use muc off visor cleaner, been using it for years.
Whatever you use, choose something none abrasive and get a proper visor cloth or a soft microfibre cloth and use gently or you WILL get swirl marks in it.
use a warm wet kitchen towl leve it on for about ten minutes remove and wipe dry.

Dizzyblonde might have some spare from AR11
V sponge are great, whilst out and about
I use my fingers whilst rinsing the visor under warm water from the tap when I'm cleaning it at home, I never use anything to dry it, I just give it a good flick and let it dry naturally.
Shell Advance Helmet & Visor. Spray on foam stuff, wait 1 minute, wipe off with microfibre cloth - sparklin! Got it at Croft BSB a couple of years ago for £1. Recommended.
Too big for on bike use, so got a wee bottle of the muc-off under the seat, not as good but Ok.

V sponge is no good for visors with special coatings. Sorry I have no more free ones.
We soak a couple of sheets of kitchen roll in water, wring s little and then leave stuck to the visor for a feew minutes. Soaks the dry flies and muck off, then wipe nice clean visor, with dry kitchen roll. Tada easy.
Speaking of Muc-Off, I bought some of the Anti-Fog treatment. Went out in the cold yesterday and didn't fog up at all. Very cool. Got back in the house and told my wife, then demonstrated by putting the helmet on and hoffing (I always call it hoffing, is that just me?) over and over "HOFF, HOFF, HOFF, HOFF, HOFF, HOFF" ... and no steamy fogging up whatsoever. Very impressed. Wife didn't really give a **** however, better things to do probably.
Might try that as the soap / polish it off method is starting to struggle now.

Windex soft cloth and I use hard shell turtle wax makes very very clear and waxed (hasn't hurt my mirrored visor) I was even told the turtle wax isn't good on some plastics but I I've never had a problem
