Has anyone actually seen if they have their size?
I looked on this site a while ago, either xs or xxxxL, unfortunately I fall somewhere around the xl mark so they have absolutely nothing available in that size.

They have quite a few sizes. Just a shame I don't really have the pennies

I just bought an XS - in a jacket that is, so I hope it fits. Something lightweight but waterproof for the English summer or my next trip to Thailand.

They are a pretty good bargain even as a spare

I bought an XS this morning, definitely a must have as a spare, I only have the one textile jacket atm and I didn't buy that new to start with (though it was practically new!). Cost me more than this Triumph one has!

got the m black and pink butterfly one as i like a bit more room and my previous was a 12 and at moment wearing daves ruckka one so think that a M will do perfectly, this will also be my first jacket brand new to me, although i did get my leathers pratically new.

Weird, I'm sure that pink butterfly one wasn't on there this morning, not that I would contemplate getting it, I flatly refuse to have anything pink on the bike. I like to remain fairly unnoticeable in the fairer sex department while on the bike, I think you get a lot more stick from chauvinistic ****s with massive egos on the road as a woman on a bike. Anyone else notice it? I prefer to wear stuff not massively feminine...(unless it's boiling then I'll wear leathers, doesn't happen often mind) then I can enjoy the looks of astonishment when they see I've got eyeliner on

Jacket's just come, very nice and superbly made as to be expected. Arms are a little on the short side for me but otherwise fits perfectly, certainly can't complain for just shy of £30. Going to test it in an hour or two.

You look like a woman on a bike. Your size and the cut of your jackets give it away. You could be mistaken for an extremely effeminate bloke I suppose.
I wear men's jackets, bigger and bulkier, blends in nicely, much better since I changed the helmet, to one with an internal visor too.

I only went for the pink one as the grey/white one was not available in my size, took mine out for a test ride today, great fit with the medium, gives me enough room to have my fleece hoody under it.arm legnth great and i have quite long arms for a woman.
nice and light but warm and definatly windproof, its 1 deg outside and i was nice and toasty,
very happy with it for £25.00

I was looking at the pink one as it would go with the bike once it has been sprayed :)
What size are you Gemma if you don't mind me asking?
missyburd
29-11-12, 08:09 PM
Aye, took mine out and didn't actually notice the difference in arm length while on the bike, roomy sleeves to allow for under fleece/hoody sleeves to bridge the gaps anyway.
I think Gem's a medium MM, as stated in her post :-P

Think there's a sizing guide on there, 10 was XS I think which would make M a 14 x

As a rule 12-14 is a medium. As that's my size. ;)
Small is 10, no chance of getting inside that.

I just edited my last post before you replied.

Lol I'm only joking.
I'm 5'4 (and 1/12 of an inch) and a size 12/14.
Would love to be a 10 but alas I enjoy my food (although WB is a good diet as he tends to eat whats on my plate) :p

Hey Lou, shall I just pass you that shovel? :-P
dizzyblonde
29-11-12, 09:53 PM
Phew lol.
I haven't seen a size ten since I was in my teens :(
I'd love to be that size too, I don't mind being bigger up top, but I wouldn't get a ten near my left butt cheek, let alone both :(
Middle age spread fueled by food don't help!

Or pass me it if she carries on, although I might use it at a different height :p ;)
To be honest I don't think I look fat so I'm not too worried and I wouldn't like to be stick thin anyhow

:(
Oh. I don't see someone the same size as myself as fat. Especially as I am rather self conscious of feeling like a blimp.
I'll go dig my own hole. Least nobody can see my lardy ass in there.

my jacket is a medium which i think says 12/14 on the size guide, i do like mine roomier not tigh,i managed with ease to get my big baggy fleece hoody under the jacket with and i would say im a 10/12(being nearer 12 at the moment with all the lovley winter warmer food i am eating). i suppose which size you go for depends on what you are intending to wear under it, if its mainly bulkier stuff maybe going a size up than normal clothes size may be good as i could have fit into a small with just my thermals on and a t shirt( but then i would have froze lol)
