I have one at my folks house I think. Got to be about 9 years old, used only a couple of times as it was noisy on a moutain bike with chunky tyres.

Will dig it out if your intrested?

Have a look on Gumtree there were a few for sale last week, you might find one local to your. Just be careful as there's a lot of scammers on there.

You're right the fan ones aren't brilliant. If you can get one at the right price, get a fluid or oil filled one. Nice and quiet and resistance is similar to being on the road.

I haven't got one for sale but I borrowed a turbo trainer last year. This year I got a set of training rollers - Tacx Antares. Definitely better than a turbo trainer but you have to concentrate all the time. I've had it a few weeks now and I'm loving it. Was up and running in less than 5 minutes so doesn't take too long to learn it.

i would get the rollers, but ill be doing it in my bedroom, so not enough room to fall off the rollers haha

I may have one for sale, it's an Elite something or other bought from Wiggle used about 5/6 times but now I'm at uni there's not much point of it for me.
