Ok, so the rear sprocket has movement, tyre needs replacing (or repairing), went to move it last night and the front wheel was seized? pretty sure it was the pads seized onto the discs? and one of my fork oil seals has given up and dumped oil all over one caliper (& pads). where to start really. How much would a fork seal replacement cost? sorry to rant!

Could be your front wheel bearings. Fairly cheap and easy to sort. Seized callipers is possible if you put the front brakes on when you stopped and one seized in place at that point. Possibly also the front cylinder is stuck, though no idea about that. A fairly straight forward test would be to undo the calliper bolts and slide the callipers about a bit or off the disc completely. If they don't move, you know one is sticking. If they do, it's your bearings. Check where the brake lever pushes the cylinder in to make sure that's not stuck.
Someone who knows about fork seal rebuilds may chime in. I believe it'll be somewhere around £150 - £200 to get a garage to do it, but that's only going from figures I've heard thrown around before.
1) I assume you know for certain it's the front wheel that's not moving. If the bike's sat for a while the pads and discs can stick together with a bit of surface rust, otherwise I'd check if the brakes are stuck on in some other way. The bearings are unlikely to seize without a lot of rumbling first.
2) Fork seals are not expensive, but you may need to pay someone an hour's labour to do them, more if you want them to strip the forks off the bike. You will also be replacing the oil at the same time.
It sounds like the bike needs a proper front-end service with the brakes and forks both needing attention. Phone a local garage and get a quote, or if you are handy, consider doing the work yourself, but I'd certainly make sure you got someone to help as brakes aren't the best things to learn on if you're new to this (no idea what you've previously done).
