I forgot to turn off the flash for this one, but I quite liked the effect the flash had on the falling snow I so kept it.

Loving that first one Richie, gives the place, interesting landmark and snow scene all in one shot :)

Nice snow biker there sopel!

GaryNorthEast, your dog looks to be enjoying the snow a little more than mine was, he is old and wimpy now :)

These pictures are great to see, was hoping to get out and take some of my own today after travelling but I'm too sick :( haven't even been out to make a snowman.

She's no youngster, although not as old as yours. She was 13 this month. I love my lurchers!

Too cold for Baby Bear, Mommy Bear & Daddy Bear - although it looks like Daddy Bear might have had a good night.

Nice shots Tommy, I can see you were already in the zone when you went wandering for OTAL :) I'm much the same about showing a path or something to lead the eye but need some foreground interest too like your deer sign or public footpath post.
Liking them a lot.

Go ape from underneath is compelling too!

My kind of lunacy, if the kids are at school tomorrow I'll get out on my MTB

I hope the guy on the dropped handlebar bike was on a cyclocross machine!

I felt like aright **** wandering round with two cameras!
Looking at the differences you can straight away tell how much the DSLR helps - whether that's being familiar with it, or the number of pixels etc - it's definately the camera not the user!
