Were you not loading up with cash? Wearing that balaclava? Using that note? With that banana in your coat pocket?

I would say wait and see,
In future pop it on the pavement, something about it not been naughty if parked at the back of a footpath... as long as you dont ride it there.

Yes and no.

You can't park in a loading bay, you can however stop for the purposes of loading.

A lot of councils consider loading to be under 15mins and with the driver being by the vehicle at all times but as far as I'm aware that's not a legal definition just a rule of thumb. If all you did was go to one place and return right away I'd argue any tickets on the basis that you were indeed loading your bike up. There's oohing to say only companies can use loading bays.

Normally yes... however don't take this for granted.

If the road itself has parking restrictions (ie, has double yellows), then it can also apply to the pavement too.
Gone done in Birmingham this way a few years back, even though I was parked touching the wall on the apartment block, and not causing an obstruction.

Yeah, the Winchester traffic wardens told me this a few years or so ago, the yellows apply to the whole width of road and pavement.

Luckily I was just leaving when they turned up.
