I'm not one for sentimental outpourings but just wanted to say what a great time I've had with the GM bunch this year. Hard to believe that before spring we'd mostly not met!

I think I've probably had more fun on two wheels this year than in recent years and much of that is down to you lot. I've done a lot less coaching and more riding for myself and I think I've gotten the "I love biking" bug again. Even more so now I've consigned that bloody steering damper to the work bench.

It's also been amazing watching the progression of several of our members (you know who you are), although I now have the challenge of trying to keep up.

Hopefully with the deportation of Thunderace we'll still keep ourselves out and about. I know he says he'll be back most weekends but assuming that's all BS it's down to the rest of us to keep the momentum going so we can leave him for dust when he does make it back over this way from time to time.

Cheers,
Dad.

No danger of me vanishing.

I'll be free to ride most weekends barring catastropy.

Well he'll be back most weekends if he can stay at my house, and since I am about as welcoming and accomodating as Stalag Luft, that'll be rarely. Mind you, Ad is about as welcoming as a strip bar, so there are options!

And for those not fully up to speed, Pie is Wideboy's pet name for Jammy!

The area of gav can be calculated using pie arsse squared.

It has indeed been a great year of biking, many trips, shenanigans and memories. Think a pre Xmas drink is in order if we all have a free evening?

Certainly has been a good year! I will be back for rideouts, maybe not trying to organise one every week but I'll be back! It's only a 2 hour hack down the motorway!

@Fallout - cheers for the invite, but sodomy makes my eyes water!

I guess your staying at mine then, all forms of sodomy, bestiality, and pederasty frowned upon.

I still haven't made it to one of your rideouts or made you any cakes. Apart from Si and he doesn't even like them.

Knowing we are all in some sort of bromance gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. .. I love you guys

I'm not a fan of warm fuzzy feelings.

I'm a fan of sodomy but we don't get much of that in Essex, seems it only happens in Guildford.

Sorry I think that was my fault, talking about cakes.

OK to try and save is thread from accusations of sickness.........

This is my last night in Hampshire, it has been a blast, glad to have met some good friends in the GM (not biking buddies, genuine mates) and I am gutted that GM rideouts are gonna be fewer for me!:(

Got some great memories and some very strange photos of a most excellent year, hopefully many more to come!

Thanks to those that are mucking in tomorrow and a big wet kiss to the rest of you!;)

@Jammy - Try and keep it shiny side up! When I come back for the next rideout I don't want to see any 50p corners and start using maximum beans on overtakes!

And before you say it Simon, no I have not been drinking!

A very grateful and extremely gutted GMer signing off!:(

You are dangerously close to Essex now. I reckon my house is about midway between your new home and GM central.

It would be if we went the long way round london.

That place is very poorly positioned, I might start a petition to have it offshored.
