Has anyone used this parts supplier based in the US.

http://www.partspitstoponline.com/

I have had a look at some bits, and including overseas courier costs, it can work out on the bits I was looking at anyway, cheaper than buying in the UK by quite a fair whack.

Im a bit worried about buying overseas and would like a bit of feedback whether anyone has done it and been burnt or not.

Be careful as your may get charged Customs Duty and VAT on any purchases. Some courier companies automatically calculate it for you, and won't release it until the Customs charges! have, been paid.

Depends how it's posted to you, but as it's a commercial packet, it will not be marked as a gift on the declaration.

Some packages get through without getting selected, but stuff from the US can do.

So might not be quite the bargain you think it is.

dont forget to factor in vat on any imports over £13. You can slip through the net sometimes if your lucky though.

Edit: Rich got there first

I know you're looking for a replacement top yoke

Have you tried posting a search on here?

No problem, just a quick question, would a yoke from another model Pointy fit?

I don't think so because of the clocks mountings. I'll admit I'm not technical when bikes are involved. maybe someone out there knows better?
