Thunderbirds was the one, remember it being on Saturday mornings in the '80s and still being repeated on BBC2 years later.
Was the old crone in a series with two silver ball like characters, one was voiced by Windsor Davies (Aint' Half Hot Mum, Whispering Grass) or have I drunk too much over Xmas?
