I'd ask Mr Chris886 he lives in Watford, however from memory as you enter Watford leaving the M25, or A41 Northbound (same roundabout) head into Watford town centre once your on the ring road get into the middle/right hand lane there is area off the road where loads of bikes used to park otherwise there are loads of cars parks in the town centre could check if they accept bikes for free.

yes, i do. where in watford will you be working? i should be able to inform you of somewhere to park where you won't get screwed by the damned traffic warderns.

im working down Clarendon road (KPMG) - anywhere nearby that is free would be awesome, but happy to pay a couple of quid a day.

ok, perfect position for just about the only bike bay in watford then (and it's free)! it's just off the ring road by the market and the top of clarendon road, underneath a multy story car park (palace i think). word of warning about using it though! there some ar5eholes that use that bay so NEVER park your bike towards the back of it (right underneath the car park) because there will with out doubt be someone that'll come and park right behind you and you then won't be able to get out again (i talk from experiece on this matter). there is also some bleeding quad bike rider that parks in there quite regularly (not sure if this legal), but he always then makes it very awkward for everyone to get out of the space.

ah yes good old google maps, i see it, outside but kinda under the multistory bit... looks like you can fit about 9 bikes there, and i see from the photo someone has done what you said parked in front of another bike....
good shout. will have to see if there is any space at 9.30 in the morning.

Around 12 years ago I worked as a courier based in the basement in the tower at one Canada square. There was a bike bay round the back for bikes. It was the courier bay but others used it. That was 12 years ago mind.

there should be space for you because i think you can get more bikes in there than that and also at this sort of time of year people stop going on their bike 'cos it's cold' etc!

Might be worth dropping a PM to Raving Davies as he worked in Canary Wharf during the Olympics and may have ridden in.
