I suggest you pick a week and that's when it will start!
OMFG!!! the TV is alive!!!!
Alive ? of coarse, we were just err hibernating, now majority rules on which day, so I’ll wait a bit.
Not holding my breath .
Well, if it is to coincide with my shifts it should be from this Tuesday coming.
Mind you, majority rule would be best as I think we need a hand getting the TVSF back together again.

But may be tempted in the cage

You're unlikely to see me of an evening - long commute and long days mean little enough time for eating and sleeping, never mind socialising.
Would anyone be interested in a weekend meet ? .

If you hang about in this part of the forums much longer Dan you will be coerced into a trip to Loomies at which point you will be expected to take part in a sport called "find the faults on the orange-wheeled shed of a GSX-R750". For some reason I've not yet fathomed everyone does it.

I am pretty sure my shed would be equally fault-filled.
Speaking of Loomies, I'm going to be down there about 1pm tomorrow for a chip butty.
Get down there for a cuppa at 10 Ogden, and join us for a rideout :)

I would turn up, but in France 'til 5 Aug. Do keep TVSF going - don't become part of GM riff-raff! Would you all mind if I did turn up! Truly, I am NOT a spy!!

When you attend we'll tell you.......guarded secret...:smt044
Bring lube, the explanation is easier if there's a live demonstration.

You know what, I might even turn up to a meet. I have been in classic camper van restoration mode for the last year or so, but having flogged one of them, my evenings are a bit emptier. Also, I don't commute by bike anymore so I actually don't get to ride that often, which is rubbish.

What is tvsf?
Thames Valley Superior Force - of course!!

How come he gets lube - that's blatant favouritism!
That’s the new rules, cos the local A&E were getting suspicious……lol.
Now this is going to frighten off any new members.
Runs and hides.
It's not so much that getting them in was a problem, it was more getting them back out.
Hence the lube.
So, are we going to try and get this off the ground again?
I am on holiday until about 30 August but would love to see the TVSF start up again.
Maybe a trip across the channel could be sorted too.....
ooo a trip across the channel would be good

I definitely think you should get it off the ground - where will everybody go during those coming dark winter Tuesday evenings if not? I'm already having my trip across the channel and I return home to UK tomorrow. I will be coming back in September though -lots more fruit to pick from trees. What kind of trip across the channel did you have in mind - already invited you guys again this year and Nick said he's too busy and didn't think TVSF would be interested either:(
Me and tony k were chatting about it last night. I would love a trip across the channel so count me in. Looks like we might have to arrange something before the weather changes to the cold season.
Ship or train ?.....quite a few things to be sorted out before goahead.
Maybe a trip across the channel could be sorted too.....

We are all still about but i am about to go into hibernation for 6 months
Wake me up in the spring
Jerry Can you not attend in a car ?.

Why are you going into hibernation for 6months? It's not that cold, yet!
sandman
16-09-13, 11:55 AM
Tax runs out on the bike and following that year i took it out around November time and caused £1000 of damage hitting a Pothole which i could then not find. I find it better to just stick to sunny months of the year
I could bring the car
wilfulmadam1
16-09-13, 12:31 PM
Sandman - £1000 out of pocket - that was bad luck.... Take Tonys advice and drive the car - if it rains, everybody else will get wet tee hee.... Why were you looking for the pothole???
sandman
16-09-13, 12:36 PM
If i could of found a big enough pothole where i would have been taking a left hand corner i could have claimed it back as it must have been pretty deep to do the damage it did to the wheel (and no i did not notice it until i got home and the tyre was practically flat)
I notched this experience up to bad luck and rubbish winter roads
