I got dates mixed up, AR is weekend after I get back from the motogp in Barcelona! As long as I still have some money I will pop along for the Saturday! I cannie be ars*d with camping again!

Last year I had a tank bag and a rucksack all in. I strapped my tent to Spanks bike but only because he had space on his tail rack. You don't need much for one night mate. Speaking of which, I really need to buy a new tent ASAP.

I did but it seems to have disappeared!

Had soft panniers on the bike and had tent, sleeping bad and roll mat bungeyed to the seat. Had them going across the bike using the grab rail as a stopper.

I have, give me a sec. TBH I didn't use half of what I brought,

Bike gear and one set of other clothes is more than enough, won't be doing much apart from riding and roaming the campsite.

what I mean is the morning calisthenics and 10mile run are optional, as is the ballroom dancing.

I have to bring camera gear, inflatable mattress, mobile shower unit, and 86 packets of jelly and a kettle.

Did something similar last bank holiday weekend up to Bicester and back but had a hiking bag rather than soft panniers.

Now have soft panniers though. :D

You'd be surprised what you can fit on a bike when you start thinking creatively.

For instance I'l be lashing my new tyres to the back of mine on Friday so I can drop them and the bike in for fitment. (Pictures will follow on the day).

Ive always bought my tents from Argos, i hate them as a company but fairly priced camping kits etc.

Look in the sales online > Millets for Example (http://www.millets.co.uk/equipment/112663-eurohike-ryde-tent-navy.html)

Then put it length ways across the pillon seat and using 2 or more bungees tie it down using the supplied tie down points. (I ride a pointy so this may be different for you)

Cool. Did have a quick nosey at millets having written that post. Could probably do with getting a new one anyway. Yeah the Curvy has a couple of tie down rails, I've got one of those bungee net thingys.

Have a look in go outdoors. Big tent showroom in Basingstoke. I've got one that's not a lot bigger then a shoebox when folded but a decent size with a porch when put up and got change from £30.

Another vote for go outdoors here... Last time they emailed me, they were talking about demonstrations in-store of tents, which might be on over the bank holiday weekend as well.
