No worries I searched a few threads and cutting the original pipe 60mm back from the weld seems a safe bet.
You wouldn't believe how many old threads I've read being flat on my back all week - god bless the iPAD. I am getting v bored now though !!!!

The instructions I got from Fuel were for 50mm up from the weld. I decided 60 would be safer as I could always trim it down. Glad I did as it just cleared the honeycomb thing inside.
