Saw this listing on Ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CBR-1000-RR-8-FIREBLADE-2008-/130836742433?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item1e767a4121

Listing will probably me deleted soon but it's a 2008 Fireblade in good nick with 20k for £3300

Way to cheap, new seller with no feedback, must be a scam, but it's well written and the bike has a few miles plus it's the middle of winter so I email them just to check.

ME

Hi, can you let me know exactly where you are. Could you also send me some pictures of the bike.

Thanks

Scammer

Hello,
The bike is still for sale. Immaculate condition, no damages, nothing to worry about. All necessary documents available. My current location is Scotland due to my work commitments. If this is going to be a quick sale, I will let it go for £3,300 delivered at my costs.
The deal will go strictly according to eBay Buyer Protection rules and policy.
Thank you

ME

I would rather view the bike before I buy it. Can you let me know you phone number and I'll give you a call to arrange a viewing.

Thanks

scammer

I am unable with phone so please use email as primary contact option. I dont use phone for internet deals.
Due to my location and since view is not an option I have requested personal support and I was approved to use Buyer Protection Program. Here is how the process works:

- you give me your full name and shipping address
- I start the transaction with the eBay,
- they send further payment instructions,
- you have to pay for the item to eBay to secure the funds,
- they confirm me that they received the funds,
- I deliver the bike,
- you receive the bike,
- they send me the money.

Everything is covered by eBay. I will get paid only after you confirm that you received the bike in good order.
Let me know if this is acceptable. Thank you

That's no scam. No phone number, no viewings, made up buyer protection programme, types like a Nigerian. How could that possibly be a scam?

I sent a report, seen a few of these on Ebay, all the same, all Fireblades, maybe that's just because I look at Fireblades more than anything else.

There's quite a few high end bicycles that I regularly see in my Evilbay daily alerts that I've seen before that are scams
