They never venture to Essex.
Anna made it from Portugal to AR. Dave from Preston. Christopher from near Liverpool but the EAR haven't managed to escape Norfolk :-)

Dicky ticker, PaddyT, SuzukiGt380paul and myself made it to the AR11 in Yorkshire, so this is a walk in the park. We also made AR10 in essex.
It's only January so being asked what I'm doing months ahead is not possible with my busy social life :smt114
Yes I plan to be there, so long as I'm not doing my hair
DT & Paddy are Essex girls :p

Considering their most regular meet point is in Suffolk, I'm thinking that to be a rather erroneous statement?[-X
If in doubt please refer to line 1 of the OP in this thread.......

I think that's something to do with staying extra close to their family. I hear it's something of a Norfolk trait... :D

Amazingly (thankfully) none of the GM lot have piped up with comments relating to Nath's "purdy mouth" or about his piggy squeeling tendancies.
Some of us Norfolkonians managed to escape from Greater East Anglia and don't venture back too often.
Oi! I made it to AR07 in North Yorkshire by coming to London first!
I also went to AR09 and rode home with LPH for some of the way!!

Be honest.

I left the Country for 3 years, came back, moved around a bit and decided Norfolk ain't that bad, no Motorways:cheers: for a start, a distinct lack of fuzz and very little in the way of inner city scum the world calls chav!

Good man, not sure I'd be up for an overnight stay with this one but I'd be up for a ride down, some lunch and socialising and a ride back, if you're interested in that?
Other than that, let me know if you're up for a ride/meetup, should be available at the weekends all being well...

Yep, planning on a long day out, with the option of an over nighter if wife isn't working
Last 2 years have been weak for ride outs from me - moving house and another baby on the way this next few months could mean more of the same - but hopefully not now I have a bike that will be easier to do distance on :)

Been there done that, know where you're coming from & I suspect Kai & SvRich know they're in the same boat as you and me.
It does get easier, I can assure you, when I can't say :p
Amen.
I haven't used my bike since the week after the Southwold meet. Been out a lot in the Landy though. Great fun in the snow :)
Would love to do the day trip. We could meet up enroute. Maybe south of Ipswich at the Tesco? Anyway, great to see you out again Skip, and great to get the riding plans started (scratches head and considers the March Meet Run).

Fingers crossed it suits others too, new thread closer the time to round up the gang I suppose...

Essex wally, you've not got it quite right
Yes, it'll start from Red Lodge, yes its in March and we'll meet up.
But it is the March Meat run, with the specific aim of finding our way to a specific pub and enter the Sunday raffle to win MEAT prizes
MarcoGF won a breakfast platter, which was very nice, as he gave it to me
Details of the original route are here

Veggies are most welcome, meat can be passed on :)
If I remember rightly there were a few non meat prizes...
