If you know anyone that's interested, send em my way :), I'm after a Canon 50mm 1.8 and possibly the 85mm 1.8.

Just to tease you - I had a look at this on Saturday...

(I have the 70 - 200 F2.8 IS with 2x so not buying anything else at the moment.)

If you have a little extra cash, ditch the 1.8 and get the 1.4 its built so much better and will last longer.

Wish you had been selling this a year ago, I have the Non IS version and its my best lens. Although don't obviously need IS for Motorsport the IS is invaluable for everything else!

Absolute bargain, can't be long until its gone..

Try holding a 70-200mm 2.8 in a low lit church without flash, zoomed in 200mm then you will be wishing for IS ;), I also have the 2.8 l is.

The 1.4 50mm is on the list but for now I need to prioritise. The 85mm 1.8 is a need.

It's a damned expensive hobby!

The F4 is pants in a church, I have another wedding to do in March but luckily its not a church! I just hope the sun is out otherwise ill be hiring the 2.8 I think

It's not a hobby for me, it's my profession, didn't spend years in uni for a hobby lol! Weddings are a money bringer for me, I have side jobs which I appreciate more tbh. It is expensive! Insurances and tax are the **** takes.

Absolute bargain, can't be long until its gone..More than a little extra cash. The f1.4 is over 3 times the price of the f1.8, but agree, its a better lens. I have the f1.8 and its a cracking lens and ALWAYS gets rave reviews. Its amazing that its so cheap Sub £100 in most places.

With the f1.4 there are other rivals out there that give the cannon one a run for its money.

Anyway, back on topic.

Sadly its not long enough. I really want a 100-400 (need to do some serious perving;))

The more I browse info the more I come to the conclusion this is the lens I want. I don't suppose anyone wants a project curvy for a shade under £620? ;)
I'm almost certainly dreaming but have a free weekend bump if nothing else.

Oops, apologies!

What other photography do you specialise in? Do you have a website?

I'm doing just that (not this one though as I can't get the cash that quick) I'm in the process of drafting a clearout thread in IB with all the stuff I can sell to try and fund my purchase of a decent lens.

At the moment I specialise in weddings, still have to get a website for that sorted, it's just find the time! I've done various works which need to go into my portfolio. Again time :(.

Anybody want the lens? Roll up roll up, asking £600!
