You can buy Nixwax (probably spelt wrong) wash and re-proofer. One of this months bike mags has a full article on exactly what you want.....RIDE I think?

I find fabsil tent proofer more effective than nikwax

I use Nikwax Tech wash which is designed for activity clothing like this stuff. The reproofing spray by them though is designed for lightweight Outdoor gear, Gore-tex jackets and the like. Although it is good stuff, I don't think that it is good enough for biking gear. Reproof with something stronger as Chris suggests for real results.
I have Weiss gear too and have washed it successfully. Take out the thermal liner and the armour and wash the jacket in warm water in the bath or shower. Don't be too vigorous with scrubbing brushes and the like, but you can give if a good soak. Do use Tech wash or hand washing soap flakes, don't use fabric detergent or softeners because they can cause issues with the outer fabrics drawing in water afterwards. Don't wring it out, leave it to drip dry and reproof. Some proofers need wet fabric, some need dry. Check first before applying it. Hope that helps.
I realise that by listing this here, I have shattered any image of being a hard core biker that I have ever managed to accrue! ;-)

I spray my work waterproofs with Thompsons waterseal or the Jewsons equivalent. Works a treat

I use the Nikwax cleaner and reproofer and have never had a problem. My HG textile jacket has been done twice in the 6 years I've had it and it's still waterproof.
Nikwax tech wash is all you need, recoats the material in waterproofing and you won't need the additional waterproofing spray unless the coat's letting water in. Just make sure to do a couple of spins with nickwax (and nothing in the washing machine) to rinse out the majority of the normal detergent you use, then yer good to go!

I bought a new Weiss Jacket last year that leaked like a towel in a shower, sadly Weiss gear can be hit or miss with the water proofing, which is why I always recommend a good spray sealer on them. My old Weiss jackets are all water proof, my new one was given away because it was cack.
I use Nikwax on my mountaineering gear though and have never had a complaint. I tried a Grangers spray on my MTB jacket and had a huge asthma attack from the fumes when I sprayed it though despite doing it outdoors in sunshine, so the following season when I redid it I used Nikwax despite the instructions saying to use Grangers. Worked a treat. :D
What ???? you should clean also ?..
i ride in the rain, so can that be "washed" as shuch.
