I've indeed noticed some items going for silly price on Ebay that really got me wondering, "what the 'eck is going on" . Some items have gone for very close to what they could be bought new.

Even though 'bidding up'(or whatever the correct term is) has always gone on on Ebay and appears to be even more prevalent, I don't think that is the whole story.

I reckon I do have a pretty good idea(could be wrong though) what might also be responsible for the high prices some items tend to be going for...

He wouldn't have used another account, restricted ECU's cost that much. And the new owner will sell it for the same when they're finished with it...

The high prices are probably just because people want those items tbh and are happy to pay that amount.
