View Full Version : Ar '13
Hola people of the South!
Anyone from the Bournemouth/Poole area intending to go to the AR this year?
If so were you planning on going for the whole weekend or just the ride?
I am thinking of possibly just going for the sat so wanted to see if anyone wanted to head up there together?

If you're going you're best off going for the weekend.
May not be able to, looking at all options but figured as it is relatively close this time I could get away with not packing all the camping crap up and run light weight there with the constant worry that something has fallen off on they way.

Really looking forward to going this year - I hope!! Won't be on 2 wheels though as I'm currently bikeless. So I'm going for the drinking and debauchery instead.
Where you based? And will you be taking a car?
If you still want to go out for the ride, put a post up in the chat thread or attendance list and see if some one can pillion you?
I would offer but not so great 2 up since breaking my hand!

I'll make my mind up nearer the time and I'll ride down if I go.

If I'm going Phil, and you want me to take some kit for you, let me know and we'll arrange a pick up somewhere in Brizzle.

They're extremely ghey. SH only lives 5 mins away as well. TP has a genuine reason but in all fairness he could rob, mug and shoot his way to getting a bike.

Btw I was nearly going to buy your rifle the other day but I made the mistake of thinking about it and it was gone

In fairness I don't actually know where it is. And I've not said probably either.

Bloody typical innit??! It's gone to a good home mate. An old friend of mine bought it to reduce the rat population on his smallholding. Good gun that, you missed a right bargain.
Resurrecting as AR is just round the corner.
As it is close enough and I have had some practice at getting to loomies recently I will be riding up on the Saturday.
Any and all from the Poole/Bournemouth/surrounding areas that want to head up in the morning together let me know.

Hey SWS lot!!
Antonija and I will be headed up for the weekend, probably Friday afternoon and back on Sunday evening
Only got to ride up from Portsmouth so not far for us
Just have to get the beast insured, taxed and through an MOT between us getting back to the UK on the 13th and the event date...
See you there!!

You could always drop by and ride-in with the Biscuits and 24_7's. We have the tent etc that you left in Plymouth all those months ago. We'll be heading to the site mid morning Friday.
Good luck with the bike.
Speaking of Friday ride-in.
If anyone is interested in meeting at the bottom of the A32 (Fareham), send us a PM, or start a list in this thread and we'll get something organised. It will be sensible o'clock.

I'm shuving the bike in the back taking the van as it's a fair distance for me to go.
I'm sleeping in it.
Actually I'm probably the closest person to the site?

I'm considering the van route as well. Or a hotel.
But as I'll not be organising anything until the morning I expect to be camping.
However I think I need to fix the bike first...
Gavaloy - you doing the beer run then?

Dude, I did wonder where the tent had got to...
'Spose we'd better drop round your place and pick it up!!!
Definitely up for a ride up together, we could come round to yours and pick up the tent and we could all go up from there
What time you thinking of leaving your place?
Be good to catch up with some of you nobheads. Looking forward to it...

Can do I suppose. For a fee but I don't except money as currency!
And if it's raining I'm leaving the bike in the back until the ride so once my beds moved there's only half a van dedicated to booze.
