No, you're dreaming.
Also this could have gone much much much worse. Trust me.

Can I do my 'on the bone' joke or are we saving the ORG from our depraved smut?

Trying to make it less obvious here (or at least I was).
Judging by daytime TV were allowed innuendo without breaking the U rating, it's actually less restrictive than PG in some ways as long as young kids wouldn't understand.

Never understood why people like to burn their food to such an extent
It depends on the cut of meat, quaility and how its coming off the grill that night. Ideally Medium/Rare.

Blue!
Is there any other way?

Sirloin - rare
Fillet - blue

Well now. I like my steak tender (I suffer from eosinophilic esophagitis, so I have to...), but marinaded in red wine or Jack Daniel's for a couple of hours with my own steak seasoning mix (rough chopped garlic, chilli flakes, salt and black pepper, maybe smoked paprika and sugar for taking the edge off soy sauce).
Brown on the outside, but nice and pink in the middle please!

Chateaubriand, rare with a Béarnaise sauce. A bottle or two of Amarone and beautiful lady = A perfect meal.

The wife likes hers like charcoal, but as an ex veggie I am picky.
First, I am not so keen on eating cows, not when there are so many lovely horses out there. So give me an inch thick Horse Steak every time, cooked so that it is tender, but not dry. We want some juice, nice pink flesh and chips that go bloody. I last had a steak like that in Italy in 2004 and just thinking about it has got me salivating like a predatory monster!
If I have to have a beef steak, it has to me medium to rare, seared but not burnt and juicy. I cannot stand dry meat, but am not so keen on blue. When I lived in France I discovered that they cook them a little differently and I loved the taste, but when it moos half way through your first bite I get put off! :D
