Thought I show of the progression of my SV since it got into my hands. First I think I'll start off with a bit of history, I originally learnt to ride on an MZ ETZ 125. Bought for the whole amount of £128 off eBay, so you can imagine the state it was in (excuse the shoddy photo):

So after a complete rebuild and too much money spent on powdercoat it looked like this:

Was a great little bike and it got my through my motorbike test but now I was onto the SV.
It was originally my fathers main runaround bike for a few years after he bought it at an auction. After he switched jobs (and bought a BMW K75) it wasn't really used anymore so it just sat in the garage for a year. After I passed my test trhough, I gladly took it off my father's hands and installed a restrictor kit. And this is what it looked like:

It was pretty much bone stock so I started installing some of the goodies my father had accumulated for it but never had time to actually put on. So a few months later, it looked like this (excuse the dog's backside):

Unfortunately I had a lowside on a roundabout not long after; a lesson to not buy a front tyre just because it was cheap. A load of plastics got scraped half to hell or were cracked. The left footrest was also completely snapped off, the left clip on was bent, bent brake lever (both of them), forks bent, and the left mirror was smashed. The joys, but a good excuse to change the SV's colour :). So after some money was thrown at some second hand plastics and other bits and a complete respray, the bike is pretty much where it's at today (bar a couple of small things like powdercoated wheels).

Some better quality pictures of where the bike actually is today will follow once it's clean enough to warrant said pictures. In the mean time, here's a picture of an ickle Suzuki, GN125 that my little sister recently passed her test on.

It has had a full rebuild, bar the engine that didn't need it.
Well I gave the SV a good clean this weekend so thought some pictures were on order. The EBC discs are staying off until the council stop molesting the roads with salt.

Things like the exhaust, swing arm and forks will be polished along side valve clearance adjustments and a shock linkage rebuild once the SV is taken off the road. It's got 60,000 on the clock now some it needs some love. For that to happen though, it's sister needs to be put on the road.

The plan for this bike is a complete rebuild once the other is back on the road. Think it'll be going naked with the clipons for a more cafe look though.
