Free Test day at Donny

FREE ENTRY on Thursday 14th March to see the British Superbike Championship (https://www.facebook.com/britishsuperbike?group_id=0) teams and riders test their new bikes here at Donington Park ahead of the 2013 season. The circuit will be open from 9am until 5pm and did we mention its FREE!!!

I'll be there with one fo the teams. These are good you get almost free range to go and do what ever you like.

Only thing is poeple getting in the way. Its a time where we get to really test the bikes and you get idiots walking in the way when you try to get the bike in the garage or just trying to work on it before you go out again.

And for many its the only time you see them at a race track cos it costs nothing.

I rode at the test last year and pitlane access was restricted but they did a pitlane walk at lunchtime. Was very busy and everyone was enjoying themselves.

where are the details? cant find them.. and is it a open day to just watch people go round the track ? im new to all this :shaking:

Its an official test for riders registered to ride in the BSB, Supersport and Stock 1000 classes. Basically teams will be setup with their riders and be on track testing various things. Not all teams may attend though.

Its worth going for a nose and the one i did last year had a lunchtime pitlane walk.

Didnt do Donny last year as it was in the middle of the season and was enjoying a few weeks away from the paddock.

Sarah, you and Steve doing the 848 again this year??

No sold the 848, didnt get on with it at all sadly. Have brought a ducati 748R which has an 853cc kit fitted and lots of special corse parts to race in bemsee thunderbikes this year. Probaly wont do all the rounds as the amount of £££ needed is outweighing the fun for me so just want to do some rounds on a bike ive always wanted and have some fun.:cool:
