Quick question - can I put my Spada Enforcer gloves in the washing machine with gore-tex gear for a nikwax clean? Will they fall to pieces or will it refresh them leaving them like new?

Might 'bumfle' up the linings, would be my only worry! getting the linings straighten out after a machine wash can be a swine. I would probably just put them in a bowl of warm water with the tech wash stuff and 'Hand wash' only. (Sorry for the pun)

I used the nikwax spray-on waterproofer on my Spada's to re'proof them, worked OK.

Googled it and some said aye, some said no. I went down the aye route and they're in the machine now on a delicate wash.

I'll let you know either a) how well it worked, or b) what my cool new gloves are like.

It would be best to wash them by hand in a bowl of warm water with some Tech Wash
and then whilst they are still wet, use Nikwax Glove Proof externally to add the water repellency..

Let them air dry away from heat sources.

Well I washed then in the machine and they came out fine but soaking due to only doing a 600 spin. Left them in a warm room and hopefully they'll be dry soon.

That nikwax stuff is awesome! First time I've washed my textiles since I got them so the water was black. The waterproofing has worked a treat, as I discovered when about a pint of ice cold water came flooding out of a trouser leg and soaked my feet and the kitchen floor.

You can buy it here:

$149 for a quart of the bottom and top coatings. You can apply it with a trigger spray so pretty cool. Wonder how the fairings on my bike would hold up to this stuff?
