Can you actually keep the carp and eat it? I heard, that it is forbidden to eat it.

Yes, according to EA rules, coarse fish ie. not trout or salmon. are returned alive
Anyway who'd want to eat a muddy old carp anyway ;)
We have enough natural predators such as otters & cormorants eating our native fish stocks, there's bugger all to catch any way :(
Carp for the table are bred for the table and live in clean water, but its more of a continental dish.
Just to clarify - My mates got a couple of fish ponds, so gotta go down there and help him sort out fish, move big ones to big pond and vice versa!! Not too sure to be honest, just got asked if i would help out.
Not eating any! Tried pike once, tasted of mud:pukel:

I had thought of beginning the decorating. Nice day today got me wanting to crack on.
I got the paint int tray, ladder out, plastic over the stairs carpet. Climbed up the ladder started painting the ceiling, looked down to the ladder and plastic covered in paint.
Gave up, bad idea
Think its best to tidy up the allotment instead. Make hay whilst the sun shines.
looks like I`ll be trying to diagnose an FI fault, just had to have my sv recovered home :(

Just wanted to tell everyone that i'll be going back to hospital for a bone marror transplant in few weeks, 4-7days off chemo(lose my hair:( . But atleast i'll have a life . Will be in hospital for ages because they wipe the immune syst out so they can get the bone marrow to accept. Also plenty of tubes in me . 1 in main vein in neck :( that hurt last time . And 90% i'll be cured but wont have a proper immune system till 1-2 years . I'll keep updated how im doing . And get plenty of pics in so u can feel sorry for me :D
