As the title says. I'm guessing you do but then how do you get Tax for a new owner if you no longer have valid insurance for it?

You have to have Either tax or a sort certificate at all times.

As for getting tax for the new owner, you can't. Not unless its insured.

Yes, you need to, or else you get a fine.

Regarding tax, the new owner/buyer would have to do it themselves.

May I suggest if you have sold it to the new owner as tax being part of the price that you reduce the price by the amount of road tax.

I know it isn't your problem but they could ride off uninsured if you tax it.

Haven't sold it yet. Was just checking. I will be changing the Ads though.
