View Full Version : March Meat Run? You know you want to!
OK, who's up for the this years annual Meat Run?
I'm looking at a very similar route to the last one, with the obvious stop off at the pub*. I'll post up the exact route in the next day or two but I want to see when people want to have it first.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th weekend, and either Saturday or Sunday?
I'm easy on date so I'll happily go with the majority.
* For those new to the EAR, or who didn't make last time, or who do not know the legend of the Meat Run;
The half way stop off was at a pub that gave everyone a raffle ticket on our way in. We though it was a draw to see who would get out alive but turned out to be a random prize draw for a load of raw meat.
Let's see what this year brings!

Put a poll up Rich, so we can decide.
As always I'm up for this, although the Sv is in bits & I'm fast running out of time to get it back together
Can A IL4 from essex crash the ride?

Yes, but because you're from darn sarf, you may be the human sacrifice to appease the locals at the pub :smt118

Can't add a poll now.

Yep, that's the place, the cafe next to the pub is where we meet up :thumbsup:
I hope we can get good numbers, I love the idea of descending on that pub for the raffle in great numbers :)
@Maviczap, do you think the pub has cotton'ed on yet to what on earth is happening?

No, I don't think they have, although me and Paul didn't make it last year, took a wrong turn somewhere.
Ended up having some nice cake & coffee, somewhere at a garden centre in Essex
