Just wondering the breakdown of types of camera we all own.

Feel free to elaborate below on your gear.

Damn, should have made the poll public for better reference. Oh well, post below if you don't mind losing the anonymity provided by the badly constructed poll.

I have a Canon (450D) DSLR
3 lenses (kit, macro and zoom)
good tripod and rucksack for carrying it all.

I have a Panasonic FZ28 (now referred to as a bridge camera)
This is through work and the long zoom is for looking at bridges without needing platforms etc to get up close.
Quality and capability is excellent but I recently cracked the screen.
The very latest is the FZ200 which has a rotating screen that can we turned inwards to protect it.
The only annoyance with this and many other super zoom is the fact that the zoom is motorised and you have very little control over the zoom increments.
Fuji have a new HS30, I think, that uses a traditional twist lens for zoom and it looks quite interesting.

Yeah, the poll was to represent main one really as I appreciate most people will have smart phones and one other kind of camera.

edit: Damn, forgot to include micro four thirds cameras. they are DSLRs pretty much anyway, just with a few less superfluous gubbins

Latest Panasonic Lumix GF5 4/3rds format with range of lenses.
Olympus SZ-30MR.
Collectable Leicas M3s + Elmar lenses, Leicaflex and Rollieflex Late fathers)
Minox GTE ultra compact, 35mm + accessories

The GF5 is new to me, just feeling my way round it, but so far very impressed.
ONE major annoyance is the "abrasive" noise that comes from the focus/extending tubes of the zoom lenses, not happy to be told it is the newness
I should not expect this from £600 lenses??
Much correspondence to follow.

Canon SLR
A couple of flashes, and an eclectic range of 3rd party lenses that range from 10-85mm

At some point I really must get a lens with some reach, but I just end up looking at stupidly expensive ones then not buying anything.

Canon 60D
18-55 kit lens
18-200 canon super zoom
300mm f4L IS USM

Panasonic TZ-10 compact.

Rochester "Poco number three" field camera. That's from the start of the 20th century, takes five by four inch sheet film and is the sort of camera you set up on a tripod and view an upside down, reversed image under a hood. Very, very thoughtfull to use.

And if you have one of those you count as an 'other' ;)

Just bought a Lumix G5 4/3 at the New Year which I am just starting to get used to. I can't afford the Lumix/Leica lenses, so have bought the adaptors to take my EOS & Olympus lenses and use manual focusing, which I dont mind too much as I used the Canon in full manual anyway.

Lumix 14 - 44mm Lens
Miranda 28 - 70mm lens OM fit
Sigma 75 - 300mm lens OM fit

Still have my EOS 300d too, but doesn't seem to get used at the moment
Canon 35 - 70mm Lens
Canon 75 - 300mm lens.
Jessops TP327 Tripod (Donated by a friend of mine)
Gorillapod
Lowepro Flipside 300 bag

Nikon d90, with the 55-105mm vr kit lense (very good IMO) and I have the Nikon 70-300mm vr lense too, also very good IMO.

Bought a remote trigger, wired and wireless, good for tripod work.

Got a few filters too.
