Watch out for unmarked around loomies and petersfield...
Me and my friend got pulled the other day and he ended up getting 3 points and the 60 for crossing a solid as he pulled back in.
Was driving a 11 plate Audi A6 3.0Tdi in grey reg beginning with mj11..
There are signs on the A272 warning of unmarked vehicles. On which bit of road did he get pulled?

its always good to keep up to date with the unmarked no plates
Ha lucky he wasn’t following me on my way home. Very boring and bang on with speed limits and basically riding like I’m on a country stroll. They would have been bored stiff. Lol.
But do be aware they a stickler with people crossing double white lines.
Thanks for the heads up.
Mental note; no more playing with Audi’s …. But, but it’s so much fun..

to me (and i would like to stress the "to me" bit, because this is my own opinion), i think it's fair enough to get 3 points crossing double solid white lines, unless there is something that forces you to have to cross them. they're there for a reason pretty much all of the time, even if it's something you can't see at that particular moment in time.

The police round Winchester way REALLY hate having to attend RTA's especially when it involves a death. To be fair when I've been driving like a **** in a way that's not immediately dangerous to myself and others they've usually just given me a talking to about times and places but when it comes to something they think will get you killed they want to make damn sure you don't keep doing it.
We may not like them for it but at least they've got a good reason for doing it.
I also suspect it was more than a little breach of the white line, that or a failure of the attitude test/other iffy riding. If that's all they've seen and you are contrite and say it was a miscalculation most will give the benefit of the doubt.

Crossing solid whites..... Why? Always another opportunity....

He didnt mean to cross it, it wasnt solid and then he pulled out for the overtake, when he overtook he crossed the hatched line but as he pulled back in he merely clipped over it even though you could see the road was still clear for a good 500m, visibility was good, road surface was good and by all means the overtake was safe.
Maybe he needs a bigger bike ;)
