Thanks everyone. I took the day off and spent the morning looking after an assortment of kids, with a little light motorcycling in the afternoon (MOT's for the SV and RGV), followed by chocolate cake. :thumbsup:

Been thinking about it but...

SV - having been neglected of late it's got a stuck choke plunger. Got it to the MOT station and back but it wasn't happy about it. Should have that sorted tomorrow right enough, unless the cable's FUBAR. Also seems to be overcharging a bit at high revs but I need to look into that.

RGV - lost all power today halfway through overtaking an artic :smt103. Felt like fuel starvation but could be electrical. Pistons and powervalves seem OK so need to check the carbs, air filter, plugs, HT leads, coils. Probably be one, some or all of that :rolleyes:. That won't be fixed tomorrow - it's up the back of the garage in the naughty corner.

That leaves the venerable Blade. I haven't had it out for a run since I put it back together. I'll take it out Saturday so I'll probably find something wrong with it then :D.

I've come to the realisation that I've got 3 bikes and a 19 year old superbike is the most practical of them. Seriously thinking about consolidating all my motorcycles into one, easy to start, bike. Something from the current century perhaps.

So....mebeez aye, mebeez naw. Don't wait for me. :p
