Very low milage, just needs new boots one fairing bolt and a scratch touching up. Chain and rear wheel clean up. Oil, filter and plugs changed.
Sounds sweet.http://forums.sv650.org/images/icons/icon10.gif Now to clean and polish ithttp://forums.sv650.org/images/icons/icon6.gif

I've always thought these had a certain look of sophistication over the jap 600's, especially in this colour.
The black frame looks ace with the silver bodywork on this bike.
Very nice!

You also need a new tax disc - that one ran out a "little" while ago.

Enjoy it!

It's on SORN at the moment, just getting it ready for MOT

Keep an eye on its electrics, the reg rec/ stator reliabiliy on these is god-awful. I myself have a 650 in yellow. And i love it to bits.

Oh and a piece of advice. That can weighs about 7kg..... Get something nice on there ( ZX6 3 bolt flange exhausts fit these)

Cheers Joe I know the downside of the electrics and the alarm. Can will wait till I get the rest sorted MOT, tax, tyres, scottoiler etc

Put it in service mode till it's ripped out or it will wreck your life. ( get it to not communicate any errors and it will only beep once per 15 seconds. Oh and wrap the alarm unit under the pillion seat in loads of towels etc and its actually tolerable

Spends its time in transport mode at the moment.

It does look nice in silver, I've got one of those common yellow 650's:cool:

Tip, Scorpion factory Carbon can from a ZX6R on mine, weighs nothing, sounds the nuts...

Might have to wait for new exhaust. Still waiting to get tyres. Which sort have you opted for? Not used as a commuter just as a plaything. Also still got the yellow curvy common things in garage. Just need to get some photos then its up for sale.

I use Metzeler M5's and really can't fault them, got them from moto-tyres.co.uk and had them fitted locally.

Tyres are so subjective though, everybody has their preferred brand/model and I don't think there are many actual bad tyres out there (but everyone I know who has tried Maxxis diamonds will never buy them again).

Yep, another vote for Metzelers

Maxxis never wanted to try them to be honest. Like the Avon storm on SV but not sure the right tyre for Trumpet. Like the Union Flag on the nose cone, hard to find in silver though. Would match new Aria helmet union flag and B/W chequer

Pirelli diablo supercorsa. compound 0 front 1/2 back. 60 profile makes turning a joy. Insane tires.... In the dry
