OK then, here's the route.

Point A is Red Lodge Cafe - plan to be there for about 10am, ready to head out as soon as we've all warmed up with a cuppa.
Point B is the Red Lion - All stop for a meat raffle :)
Point C is Bury Tesco - End of ride with a chance for fuel, loo, and another cuppa before heading home.
We can always put a stop in at Haverhill for fuel if needed, but there is a garage near Red Lodge to fill up at, and the route isn't that long.
We'll run the normal second man system with a TEC. Any TEC volunteers? I'll be happy to if someone Satnavs the route and leads.
And a roll call for numbers;

The Pioneer Run (http://www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/index.cfm?request=b1114322&event_id=FCB1D93116AF5E1F80257B1700390932&cDate=%7Bts%20%272013-03-04%2012%3A02%3A36%27%7D&caller=home.showWeek&action=showEvent) - being London to Brighton isn't a great place to travel to from Norfolk for the day really, and it's not my idea of fun watching a bunch of pre 1915 bikes splutter down the road anyway, plus we can't break tradition...
Its our little boys 3rd birthday that weekend and the party is on Sunday - so its a no from me - sorry :(
In all honesty this month is such a busy one (moving next weekend) that I doubt I could have made any of the dates!

BTW all plastics now in one piece (not pretty but solid) gonna finish my brew then off into the garage tonight for the refit!;)
Er bit of a misshap today .
Kwaker went into melt down .
So I'm looking at some headache loom repairs and what might have been fried .

;) I like to do it mate, get to watch all the little errors from those infront then mercilessly rip the **** when we stop!:D
Also any not so fast or new riders get a bully keeping the fast cars stuck behind them and not hooning past! I do tend to hang around on the opposite side of the road when I see overtakes for those in front so a quick glance in the mirror can ease the less confident through traffic!:smt051
@Ntec - bad luck old boy!:( Hope the loom hunt goes well and you get to come.

Just make sure to keep an eye in all YOUR mirrors so you can see ace's not so little mistakes and errors in return.
It doesn't do to let him have it all his way, although he'll probably blame the bike.
(Btw ace, is it still ridiculously low at the back?)

I don't know what you mean Ad? Thought I was perfect?
She's 1 1/2 inches higher, but is still suspended by the rafters in the garage!
Got MOT Monday I will measure her properly when she's on the deck, but I'll only really know when she's next to yours!
I'm thinking as it has only made a small difference maybe you have uber short doglegs??? Will have to compare Gavs too!

I'll take all the riding advice I can get, even if it has to come with some pi55 takes :p
I'm on year number 3 on a bike, started August 2010 with a SV for 8 months then onto something a bit juicier...I wont take big risks and I know I need to grow some balls....little by little though ;) Got a good bike to give me some comfort when the mistakes are made...

Someone who knows how long it takes to get to red lodge can set the time !well it seems we are departing red lodge a little after 10am,and its a 50 minute run out from copdock, and allowing for breakfast,i would say we need to leave tesco's at 8.45, so shall we say meet at 8.30 and leave tesco's copdock hgv park at 8.45!!

Touch and go, if I can make it, as after the test run of the bike showed that the one of the front calipers was binding.
One stuck piston, which defeated my efforts to free it, so I dropped it off at the shop today. If I get it back in time and back on the bike, I should be ok.
Back brake is also binding, so that needs a clean too. Its one thing after another lately. I'm right fecked off with bikes and the fecking weather.
The forecast ain't great either, fecking weather

I think snow or ice on the roads is a fair reason not to hit back roads, but I have been looking forward to this for some time, I have heated grips and don't mind the cold, just don't like ice much...
I'll come to red lodge and meet up then take it from there, main roads to there will be alright...just a question about the b roads we'll want to go zipping through...

If its not good we could have the Meat Run to Red Lodge Cafe and have a full English.
Those back roads would be interesting to say the least if there's snow

I did tell myself I'd do the full english next time I was there!
Those back roads were a little fun in places last time with the mud...snow will be a whole new level of fun :)
@SVRich, will you be heading back to Lowestoft afterwards? If I've not had enough of the cold fancy a pit stop at Reeder's spot?
Hey all.
I've been watching the weather all week and it's nott looking great for Sunday. I won't call it off though as I'm sure you're all able to decide for yourselves if you want to come out or not. If it is too cold for the full Run then a breckie and brew and a catch up with everyone would be good anyway.

My youngest is recovering from having her tonsils out last week and isn't doing too well, and the snow is settling here. I'll be having to ride in it on Monday so the pleasure of doing it all day tomorrow will be lost on me.

Just got back from Hunstanton, I am full of chips and its not that cold. The sun is out. The roads are dry and the snow is all but gone.
