My new toy/work horse! I'll take some other photos when I pick it up Wednesday.
Details ...
2006 Triumph Tiger 1050
14k miles (just about run in then!)
Touring smoke screen
Baglux tank harness
Braided lines
Radiator/oil cooler protective grills
Additional riding lights for bling
Little triumph stickers + union jack sticker (sorry Ad, these will be removed!)
It has all the typical triumph features such as a gearbox from a windmill, so requires a proper yank to get it into 2nd, and forget about finding neutral. Also some mild corrosion on some bolts, but overall very good condition.
I'll lavish about a grand on it for the full luggage set, heated grips and sat nav, and then it'll be ready to go. Pictures of that setup when I've given Tomor all my remaining money and we've sorted it out.

It is a novelty being able to look at a speedo, I'll give you that. Luckily the horrific gearbox keeps me in a world of imperfection I am accustomed to. :)
Better update your sig then!
That seat looks ****ing comfy

It's not bad. Better than the gixxer, plus better on the balls (no leaning forward crushing them). Might still get the gel seat at some point though. Depends how my bum takes the miles. It's a high milage bum already (innit Gav?)

There's a deep undercurrent of ride it hard and put it away wet running through the GM.
Washing and sparkly levers tend to be secondary to petrol and beer money.

It's gonna be a workhorse, so it's gonna be dirty a lot. I'd imagine it'll see a sponge once a month if it's lucky.

Considered engine/crash bars. May get some, but since I've given Tom the thick end of £800 on a load of ****, I'm going to have to give those a miss for a bit. I don't expect this to stay shiny for long anyway, so doubt I would be balling into my snot stained hanky if I do drop it and it gets a bit scratched.

you would be balling into said hanky if it meant something broke on it that do need to be working/functional, but i agree tom has given you a good raping there for stuff! lol ;)

Nice bike, I've ridden the 07 version, which I presume is much the same, little "squidgy" at the top of the suspension but ok once loaded, engines nice and lovely comfortable riding position, of course a good deal of weight there, but doesn't really come into play apart from parking up.
Luggage effects it over about 80mph so watch for that, nothing dramatic but worth bearing in mind.
have fun.
Cheers Mark.

This is a bit spooky... I bought my V46 box and SWM brackets from this place almost exactly a year ago. Never realised it was Tom's abode!
