Hi guys I'm Robert from Glasgow, Scotland. I've got myself an SV650s K6 '07 plate. I passed my test before the new laws therefore I'm restricted for 2 years (I'm 20 atm). It's all good though it's not a 125! If pictures are allowed here's she is:

PS: I'm madman by name, not by nature :p

Welcome dear chap, how nice to have another pointy owner joining the fold. We are a friendly bunch in here and love to have folks in to add a little diversity to the club.

You will find that there is a lot of cool people up your way, so get out on some rides, meet some new friends and try to persuade them to ride all the way down south to my house for a swinging party. :D

Cheers lads appreciate the warm welcome. I've had my bike on the road a month and plenty happy with the restriction. Since I've never rode a full power bike what i don't know can't hurt me lol.

It's early days my longest commute has been a merely 20 miles or so, just breaking it in you see! I do have a 100 mile round trip planned next weekend to a friends house so that's a start. Might be a wee while longer before i cross borders :)

i had the same thing, when i was 20 too. without doubt twas the best thing that could've happened to me and the sv is one of the best bikes around to restrict i think. you won't really notice all that much difference when you get it de-restricted (except at the top end).

and best of all i still have the bike and it still runs sweetly with the 40k odd miles i've put on it.

I thought you lent it to a newbie rider women to ride around and probably crash?

No joke dude. You told me you were going to lend it to someone else (I thought a woman who had just got her license) so it got some use while you couldn't ride it. Maybe that never happened!
