This had a load of factory extras on, heated riders seat, heated grips, fog lights, arrow can, tyre pressure sensors, aluminium bash plate, engine crash bars, panniers and hand guards.
It's done 1900 miles so hardly run in and the dealers done a oil change service even though it wasn't due.
So far, very pleased :)
Enjoy the bike bud, but...
heated riders seat, fog lights, tyre pressure sensors, aluminium bash plate,
Faakin el, is this still a bike we're talking about?
Looks good, best colour too!

Lol, not quite but almost everything else :)
Take it from me, it's not a pipe and slippers engine, goes like a missile if you poke it with a stick.

In fairness that pic does make them look massive, they look ok IMO.
Just trying to find a top box that kinda matches, triumph do two, a hard version but only 36L and costs £275 and a 50L semi textile one for about £130.
Been looking at the givi trekker range, about £210 plus plate for a 52L.

I can vouch for the Givi Trekker 52L. Very well built case, great size & worth the money.

Very Nice Bike!!!
And loaded with accessories.
Well done there.
Quite in style here across the pond.
Owners I've talked too simply adore them.
I'm sure you'll be more than pleased.
Touring, sport riding, even light off-roading , who say's you can't have it all?

Bill, on the explorer forum there seems to be a high number of Americans and Canadians on there even though it's a uk site so that supports your statement above :)
I was out the other day and it snowed quite heavily, luckily it didn't last long and stick.

That is just jubbly! How do you find the mirrors? They look the same as the ones on my Speedie R which were utter poo.
Any ford crossings planned for this one? :p

Mirrors are fine so far mate :)
Just had a weekend in Wales, done the strata florida for the first time, the most challenging bit of laning I've done to date, was on the drz though, but I've done that many water crossings this weekend I'm gonna need a break from them for a while lol
I'll post some pics and a small write up later for anyone interested.

Main reasons, they are more expensive, not as powerful and the biggest problem, two heads sticking out the sides just waiting to be cracked off something, can't stand that part of their design, but I do like them, but not for me.
BMW reliability issues get swept under the carpet too so that's another negative, time will tell if the explorer turns out any better :)
