The below is shamelessy copied from the Yorkhill website - linky (http://www.yeer.co.uk/index.html) - see some of you there no doubt.
There is NO registration needed for the 2013 event - Just turn up.
http://www.yeer.co.uk/uploads/1/0/5/7/10575402/1358599766.jpg
On Easter Sunday- 31st March 2013, Scotlands' motorcyclists will converge on Glasgows' Royal Hospital for Sick Children, commonly known as "Yorkhill" to deliver cash donations, toys and the odd chocolate egg or two.
After the imposed pre-registration of 2011 attracted a much expected backlash, the Police and Glasgow City Council agreed to drop this condition in 2012 and eveyone was much happier.
There route for 2013 will start and finish at Yorkhill as it did last "YEER" and takes in the traditional spectacular ride-out along Great Western Road.
Please meet at YORKHILL HOSPITAL from 11am for a 12pm noon departure. The route goes from Yorkhill, up Sauchiehall Street, Woodlands Road, Great Western Road, Crow Road, Rosevale Street, Benalder Street and back to Yorkhill. Entertainment will be on hand from Radio Lollipop and there will be plenty to eat and drink (not free - we're trying to raise money, not give it away!)
This year, we are asking for a suggested donation of £5 PER BIKE which will be collected on arrival at the hospital. Please consider making a donation this year rather than an Easter Egg as the hospital is inundated with chocolate at Easter and many of the patients are on special diets or nil by mouth and can't enjoy the eggs.
Financial donations mean that we can provide specialised medical equipment and other resources essential for the care of the children at Yorkhill. These of-course will go on long after the chocolate has been eated and forgotten about.
Want to donate NOW? Text "Easter" to 70707 to give £5 (of which the Foundation receives 100%).
If you would like to start your fundraising now, we can help by supplying sponsor forms, posters, flyers, collection cans and more. Please just get in touch on 0141 201 6917 or 0141 201 0723 or email on
laura.donnelly@ggc.scot.nhs.uk (laura.laura.donnelly@ggc.scot.nhs.uk).
PLEASE ENTER YORKHILL FROM DALNAIR ST FROM 11am

I'm hoping to make this, its weather and Hangover dependant... Unfortunately, I'm being forced into going to a family party the night before.
Maybe from me. Depends if I can be rrr'sed to ride up. Motorway is sooooo boring.

We used to meet up beforehand and then ride along as a group. Would anyone be interested in getting something like this sorted?
Not only do I have a pass, but Mrs T says she is accompanying me. A most rare occurrence.

Now, they want us there for 11am. So I thinking (dangerous for me) we could meet up between ten and half ten in the PC World Carpark, in Finnieston, then head along just before 11.

I've been considering whether or not to do this run, would be my first as a new member. Meeting up at PC World seems like a good idea, and i'm only ten minutes away from it. I might try bring a buddy along too (although he doesn't have an sv tut tut!)

I should be at Yorkhill "run" cos I love the smell of burning clutches in the morning.
Weather forecast looks positively tropical. :sunny:

OK, I missed the PC World meeting. Totally underestimated the amount of housework and flower aranging required to make the house fit for the babysitter. Did meet a mate there who said the car park had been full of Triumphs so I guess that was you guys. Unfortunately the only person I told was Carelesschucca...
Bumped into Stramasher and his Mrs, and Independent Photo/Quedos formerly of the Org, but otherwise didn't see anybody I knew. Plenty of SVs, but no familiar faces. Maybe if I actually turned up to a few more rideouts...
Not too late to donate a fiver, although they are clearly OK for eggs.

When did Oompah Loompahs become an Easter thing? Saw four of them and they weren't even together!

Car park was full, well into the overflow. Bit of sunshine don't hurt the turnout.

I though if we rode near the two Tiggers on the trike we'd get our pictures taken and I was right! This was taken by Mrs Combat Fred and stumbled over on Facebook. That's us 4th from the right, Penny Century waving like a good 'un.

That picture was taken at the end of the route, in the car park of the Premier Inn Newhouse, a pretty forgetable location I'll grant you. We went to these places. Well I say 'we', you went straight past the Hollybush Inn at 14,000rpm...
In summary: Glasgow M8/M77/A77/A719/A77/A713 Hollybush Inn A713 St Johns Town of Dalry A702/A76/B797/A702 Abington A73 Newhouse. 1 regroup, 1 petrol, 2 coffees, 4 fags, 4 wees, 140 miles, no pressure. :D
And it all looked a little bit like this (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=110086). Ringing any bells?
