Well after nine years, one month and nineteen days of SV650.org membership, my profile page has had 100 visits ! I’ve known new female members to beat that in 1 week :rolleyes:. I could be nearly 60 before I reach 200. Who has the highest count ?

Ah, fair point Tomor. I actually joined in March 2010, but the site/forum relaunched in 2003 so I think we had to re-register.

I think it is probably only me and Rictus still around from those days!

it does dave, you can still view the 'old' forum (now read only) from the hompage i think, if memory serves me correct.

Sadly for me, being ugly and the wrong side of 30 means that my profile has had much less views than say a pretty blonde person. Mind you, my avatar is a wheel and I took down the photo of my in my PVC corset. I am hardly appealing am I? :smt022

As for looking at other profiles, I always feel a bit strange doing it, kind of like stalking. So if I have had a look at your profile, it is for one of two reasons. Firstly, I am stalking you or secondly, my duff computer opened your profile instead of the page I wanted.

What you really need is a photo of a pretty woman, but not so attractive as to clearly be a model, and a username that preferably implies you're female*, or at least (as mine is) ambiguous to your gender.

If you're sticking with a male profile, your approach needs to be a little different: Post a pic of you (or just a male model) on some sort of obscenely expensive V-Twin exotica, but ,make sure the face is out of shot**. Drop insinuations in your posts that you are famous enough that 'most people here would know who I am', own 100 bikes, are mates with Ghost Rider, used to beat Rossi when he was starting out and have clocked up >1 million miles riding around the world.

*As opposed to a male member with a photo of a woman as their avatar.
**Backlighting, Shades and an open face helmet, or a carbon fibre full face lid all work well.
