View Full Version : Curvy with black forks - opinions?

Bit of a starange one - I've been trying to decide whether my '00 black curvy would look good with black forks, or if they'd just make it look a bit strange. I like the look of the fully faired pointy with black fork lowers in this thread:

searching has only turned up a streetfighter naked curvy with black lowers (which did look good as well), so I was wondering if anyone had seen or even has a faired curvy with the lowers painted?

My curvy has block fork lowers but they are GSXR RWU forks, looks good though

Cheers for that - and mine are standard RWU (with the risk of sounding completely thick, I'm assuming this stands for 'right way up') so will look similar. You don't have a picture of the whole bike do you?

Definitely a nice one though - big fan of that paint job and the headlight unit. Cheers anyway :)

The 00 curvy has black wheels doesnt it?

I think itd go well if it does. Maybe not with silver, but with black should match and look well

The wheels are the darker grey as opposed to silver yeah. I think it probably would work, just want to get some outside opinions/photos to reduce the chances of having to undo it!

on my old curvy I sprayed my forks and wheels charcoal metallic grey, looked alright, see if I can find a picture.

My curvy was a later model so started out with shoddy looking silver wheels when I first got it.
