You know what, had a look at these and the latest model the other day in a dealers and they look surprising good in the flesh. The riding position is more upright than I would consider but I would definitely buy one for some easy cruising and touring (adjustable screen). Enjoy it mate, that's one damn good looking bike.

Cheers mate, riding position feels great but I'm going to ease it in because its a very capable bike.
Just need some good weather now!

Did I miss something? I thought Kawasakis were always green and mad... orange and mad belongs to the Austrians 8-)

No thats the owners!!!
Especially after the damage a dealer did to a brand new Adventure 1190 one after 50 miles (Loves KTM for the record)

Always thought these and Diavels look like judge Dredd bikes.
And let's be honest. It's between Judge Dredd and Akira for coolest bike ever
( though I must say it looks worryingly scooter like from that one specific front angle you took!)

Even I think that from the front head on but it's the side and the back that do it for me. Even when I road it up the road and back just to make sure it was okay, the brakes nearly sent me over the bars compared to the sv.

that's lovely

I love the look of naked bikes, but couldn't cope with the lack of wind protection, how good is that screen?

and how much if you don't mind me asking?

I agree but once seen in the flesh then the proportions make the bike a lot more attractive and its surprisingly comfortable. The 2012 or 13 model I sat on had a 3 way adjustable screen which looked like it would do a good job.

Yeah Ive always liked the Zed and ive always loved thats its a beefy muscle bike. It also is very very comfortable but will see how it does on a long run in the coming months.

didn't think you could ride a 1000cc at 19

so long as he passed his test at least 2 years ago, his 33bhp restriction has lifted and he can ride what he likes

insurance probably requires deep pockets though

My insurance is 720 quid fully comp with all the bells and whistles so can't really complain.

Went out for the first ride today and wow what an absolute machine! Certainly keeps me awake scares the living hell out of me! Be a couple of weeks to adjust back to the IL4 nature!

Enjoy it! About the same power as my zx7r, perfectly usable daily but enough to blur the eyes when you fancy it. How's it handling wise?

Wildkid
06-04-13, 02:26 PM
Yeah handling is really good on it, tips in sharply and holds a line well. The other good thing is its low and midrange still pull unlike most inline fours so the motor is absolutely spot on as well!
