View Full Version : Bike trip ideas
Thinking of doing a journey up into wales and/or scotland sometime in the next two week. Mentioned this a while ago, but now have the time to do it.
Any specific roads i should look out for north of the border? Any bike friendly places i should visit? etc

If you go to Scotland, the Buccleuch Arms Hotel in Moffat is the place to stay. They'll then sort you out with route maps of local rides and look after you.
You taking scenic route up there Jam, or motorway blasting it?
Think a bit of both job, as at the moment daytime temps are fine but evening/night time it goes minus so if i do scenic **** all day i'll end up rushing for the hotel at night, will be hell.
So a combo of motorway/fun
'the Buccleuch Arms Hotel in Moffat is the place to stay. They'll then sort you out with route maps of local rides and look after you.' Sounds to good to be true... Guess i can trust you explorer boy

They are the guys behind MotoGoLoco. You even get allocated a metal shed out back to park your bike in. Awesome food too!
Whats the cheapest i could get a room at?

No idea! Late rooms prices I guess is your best bet. I've always stayed for free!
