Having had my agv k3 for 3 years now with it being yellow and not matching my bike anymore I decided to treat myself to a new lid.
Really really happy with it soo far! Would be rude to not post a picture!
The visors are bloody expensive though at 80 quid a pop!

It is a very very light lid! Weighs nothing and very comfortable. Will take a while getting used to the d strap though!

Yeah why do they still have them, they look like a right pain!
Work mate has the Speed-R, strap was his only complaint!

They have them as their a lot safer than the ratchet systems but less convenient apparently??
double d is easy once you get used to it. and yeah ive heard ratchet wear down and the seatbelt buckle well not sure, probs not so reliable

Nice lid, I have the shark rsi carbon very good helmet
It looks a bit big for the size of your neck and Body ;)
You soon be as quick with the DD.
Not so sold on rachet system on my cheap Shark .

Yeah had ago with it today and really impressed, feels like your not wearing a helmet!
Also wind noise is significantly reduced over my K3 and also the visor lock is very good.
Cant wait for my smoked visor to arrive!

Chucked my shark when the seat belt type fastener popped open on me when I'd just put it on, and then a slight pull would open it up even when off my head. Looks good though.

I've got the Speed-R, love Shark helmets, brilliant styling, really comfortable fit and decent safety ratings.
DD lock was a bit of a pain to start with, too fumbly to use with gloves but you soon get used to it and prefer it over anything else now.
Girlfriend has the S900C with the other type fastener, where it's easier to use with inexperienced hands, it doesn't feel as secure

I've had it out for a massive ride today and love the helmet completely. It is very race focused though and takes a while getting used to the DD strap. Just as I got home my tinted visor arrived as well!
Bit of picture whoring!

Wouldn't really call that 'tinted'. More pure black :)
